Pair of large "Moonflask" gourds each resting on an oval foot with leiwens motifs. The neck is flanked by two dragons standing on their hind legs. Mirror decoration on a turquoise blue field, of peonies in bloom and mushrooms of immortality. Cloisonné and enamelled bronze. Qing period. 19th century. Height : 38 cm. Condition : Good condition. Small chip in the enamel at the bottom of the body of a vase. No accident or restoration. Provenance : Former collection of Mr. Edmond Rubbens (1894-1938), Belgian Minister of Labour and Colonies in 1934-1935.
