A BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN JARDINIERE WITH MOUNT FUJI Japan, Meiji period (1868-1912) Supported on three feet and painted in underglaze blue with a continuous landscape depicting the mount Fuji emerging through the clouds, the broad flat rim with a stylized cloud band. The interior unglazed. Probably Koransha-ware. HEIGHT 23 cm, DIAMETER 31.5 cm Condition: Very good condition with firing irregularities. Provenance: German private collection.
