A CORAL NECKLACE WITH EXPERTISE Tibet, 1900 to 1920. Composed of 31 coral beads and one lapis lazuli bead, each separated by small metal beads, joined by metal closure with two loops. The coral beads in various shapes, with irregular markings and different hues of red. Condition: Overall very good condition, some beads with natural inclusions and fissures. Provenance: From an Austrian private collection. An expertise of 1995 from the renown Mican laboratory in Vienna stating the value at roughly 1,000 Euro at that time accompanies the lot. Weight: 352 g Dimensions: Length 57 cm, Diameter 2.98 cm (largest bead), Diameter 1.75 cm (smallest bead) This item contains ivory, rhinoceros horn, tortoise shell, and/or some types of tropical wood and is subject to CITES when exporting outside the EU.
