A TEADUST-GLAZED CONJOINED PORCELAIN VASE GROUP

A TEADUST-GLAZED CONJOINED PORCELAIN VASE GROUP China, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912- 1949). Formed of six vases arranged in a circular formation, each with a baluster body rising to a slightly waisted bamboo style neck molded with a horizontal rib. Covered overall in a finely mottled matte glaze of deep olive-green color that also covers the underside while the mouth rims are of burnt toffee color. The base of the central vase impressed with an apocryphal Qianlong reign mark. Condition: Excellent condition. Provenance: Swiss private collection. With a paper label ‘Franzero Collection’ probably referring to the collection of Dr. Carlo Maria Franzero (1892-1986) as well as a larger old collector’s label.
