A YUAN TO MING STYLE CELADON CERAMIC VASE China, Yuan to Ming style, 1st half of 20th century. Of globular body rising into an elongated neck with everted lip and a large band of lotus flowers and leaves carved into the walls. Covered overall with a spinach-green celadon glaze. Condition: Good condition with minor wear and some incrustations. Provenance: The collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above. Dr. István Zelnik, President of the Hungarian South and Southeast Asian Research Institute, is a former high-ranking Hungarian diplomat who spent several decades in Southeast Asia, building the largest known private collection of Asian art in Europe.
