A PAIR OF CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL VASES
Japan, Meiji period (1868-1912)
Each vase baluster-shaped and decorated with silver wire and colored enamels on a fine turquoise-green ground and depicting a blossoming cherry tree branch. The rims and underside applied with copper.
HEIGHT 15 cm each
Condition: Few nicks with associated hairlines and minor surface scratches. The rims and base with remains of silvering.
