AN IRON-RED, BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN SNUFF BOTTLE China, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). Of cylindrical shape, decorated in underglaze blue and iron-red with a continuous market scene of vendors selling fish. With an associated brass mounted coral stopper with metal spoon. The underside with an apocryphal Yongzheng reign mark. Condition: Good condition with some wear, a small glaze flake, a thin hairline to the body and fritting to rims. Provenance: Hungarian private collection, according to the current owner acquired from a Singapore collection in 1980. Weight: 64.9 g Dimensions: Height 8.8 cm incl. stopper
