A FINELY CARVED DUAN STONE SNUFF BOTTLE
China, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). Of ovoid form with an oval foot ring, finely carved in high relief on one side with a pair of stylized confronting dragons forming the Character long (dragon), the sides with lion mask handles. The metal stopper applied with a glass cabochon and with metal spoon.
Condition: With surface wear and nibbles overall. The cabochon with a chip.
