A CHARMING GROUP OR THREE HAIR ORNAMENTS
China, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). Three hair ornaments made from gilt metal and set with pale celadon jade. One in a form of a pin with Linghzi-shaped reticulated head, intricately decorated with small bats and floral motifs, and with remains of paintwork of kingfisher feather color, one in the form of a butterfly, one in the form of a bat, both with jade wings and body, all with filigree ornaments.
Condition: Patina to the metal parts, some inlays are missing, traces of use commensurate with age.
