A BRONZE FIGURE OF GUAN YU
China, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912), 19th century. Massively cast as Guan Yu standing on a pedestal, holding his beard in his right and a removable halberd in his left hand. The blade and his dress with fine chased details.
Condition: Very good condition with some traces of wear, such as nicks and scratches, and some casting irregularities.
Provenance: Dutch private collection, according to the current owner acquired from a German private collection.
