A PAIR OF TIBETAN COPPER REPOUSSÉ AND BRASS EWERS Tibet, 20th century. The first crafted in copper applied overall with a bronze finish, set with a dragon handle and a curved spout issuing from the mouth of a further dragon, the shoulder and neck with copper applications showing the bajixiang and a band of lotus petals, the circular cover with a lotus bud finial and attached to the handle by a chain. The second crafted in copper, set with a mythical brass beast handle and a curved spout issuing from the mouth of a further beast, the shoulder and neck with brass applications showing floral scroll, the circular cover with a lotus bud finial and attached to the handle by a chain. Condition: Very good condition with minor wear and casting irregularities, occasional light scratches, and few minuscule nicks. One chain broken. Provenance: Austrian private collection.
