A FINE GILT BRONZE MIRROR

A FINE GILT BRONZE MIRROR Nepal, dated 1698. Consisting of two parts cast separately. The massive, reticulated handle of cone shape with floral motifs, the circular mirror inscribed Shiva Narayana Samvat 818 Baisakh Badi 9 Subha. Condition: Good condition with minor wear, small nicks, and light scratches here and there. The peg connecting both parts slightly loose. Provenance: Swiss private collection, acquired in England.
