BRETON Jean-Baptiste, known as BERTON, French general: LAS dated February 1, 1818, in the hand of a secretary with his handwritten signature (among others): invitation to participate in the national commemoration of the Law on the Nation. General of the First Empire, Berton was to plot against Louis XVIII in 1822. Denounced, he was executed in Poitiers on October 5, 1822.
