ARENE (Paul) Provençal poet and French writer (1843-1896) undated LAS, 3 pages in-8: beautiful letter addressed to Doctor Lafont by Jules Arène, who apologizes for a missed appointment, and illustrated by Paul Arène with amusing caricatures of Napoleon, Thiers, a Breton man in front of a cake, etc... Paul Arène has also drawn some Chinese ideograms, of which he gives the translation.
