H : 121 cm, W : 41 cm, D : 21 cm ACCIDENTS AND MISSING PARTS Several of the bronzes decorating this cartel are directly related to the repertoire of Charles Cressent. These include the espagnolettes in the corners and the figure of Mercury. They are also found on the cartels with Leda or Danae (A. Pradère, Charles Cressent, Dijon, 2003, p. 189 and 302). However, these elements do not allow a firm attribution to the famous cabinetmaker.
