Arthéna, p.376, under n° P. 285, repr. Although contemporary with the realization of the lost painting of Jean-François de Troy, this drawing, which has "for him the fatness of the draughtsman" (Goncourt), is nowadays rejected from the drawn corpus of the painter. A comparison with the artist's other drawings shows that the hand is different.
