Large astronomical table clock with 24-hour dial and 10-minute sub-dial, moon phase and moon age, in mahogany veneer, base with two sphinxes resting on four galette feet and opening with a drawer. Round movement with full brass plate, main spring barrel, hook escapement, threaded suspension clock, steel pendulum stem and brass pendulum lens. The small hand with blued metal ball indicates the phases of the moon. The age of the moon can be read on a silver disc. The large sun hand indicates the time on the two 12-hour dials. To get the correct time, the minutes on the subdial must be added.
