H_50,5 cm W_42 cm Provenance: Madame de Conantré (Château de Conantré); Baroness de Ruble (née de Conantré); Madame de Witte (née de Ruble); Marquise de Bryas (née de Witte); Acquired directly from the latter by the Cailleux Gallery; Acquired from the Cailleux Gallery in 1960 by the mother of the present owner. Reprise of the painting Le bonnet vert painted by David Teniers and kept in Lugano in the Thyssen collection (see M. Klinge, David Teniers the Younger, Antwerp, 1991, fig. 13, reproduced).
