This bust, with its angular face decorated with tapestry nails and stylized features, is a good example. The eyes, represented by two cowries, are wide open and seem to scan the horizon. The raised eyebrows meet at the base of a straight nose. The square shoulders contrast with the protruding chest and the generously rounded belly. The hands are placed on either side of the prominent navel. The figure is dressed in a skirt that hides the lower part of her body.
