DUNANT à Paris, Début du XVIIIe siècle

Onion watch in gilded and silvered metal. Case on hinge, the whole is chased and embossed with scrolls and acanthus leaves, an allegorical scene is represented in the central part on the back. Dial with two hands, enamel cartouches, Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic numerals for the minutes, the center chased with scrolls and acanthus leaves. Movement with chased and pierced cock, regulating racket, verge escapement, spiral balance, fusee and chain, signed on the plate "Dunant à Paris". Accompanied by a stylized watch key. Diam. 58 mm Sold as is and without warranty, traces of wear and tear, expect a complete revision of the movement.
