Paar Barock-Leuchter Height: 28 cm. Flanders, 1640. Brass bronze, cast, chased and engraved. On a hexagonal base a profiled foot with a wide eaves bowl, cast with cherubic heads. On top of it a multiple-ground shaft and a wide spout. The foot engraved, with an engraved mark in a heraldic cartouche and the date "1640" arranged around it, as well as with a late secondary date below it on the occasion of a presumed gift of "1700".
