The body is enhanced in its lower part by a frieze of confronted sphynges framed by bands and in its upper part by a frieze of trellises. The spout is an eagle's head, the flat lid is topped by a pine cone grip on a terrace alternating flowers and lanceolate leaves. Turned ebony handle.
