BRIOUDE CIRCA 1770 - JURIDICTION OF CLERMONT-FERRANDSilver covered bowl with ears engraved. The plain body is engraved with a count's coat of arms, the molten silver ears are openwork and poly-lobed, chiseled with a motif of pomegranate foliage and fruit. The lid, moulded with a frieze of oves and scrolls, with a doucine marked by rows of strong fillets, is engraved with foliage scrolls and fleurons on a bitter background. The frétel represents an artichoke on its terrace of leaves. Master goldsmith: attributed to Julien II NOZERINES, born in 1718, received probably in 1752, died in 1773Weight : 958,2 g - diameter with the ears: 30,5 cm - height: 14 cmInterior photocopy of a handwritten document mentions: "Bouillon à oreilles offered by the family DALBINE to their granddaughter and daughter Marie-Julie on the occasion of her marriage in 1835.
