Battle between Tamur and Kuhkash, under a block of six lines of text.
Gouache and gold on paper, 29 lines of text in four columns interrupted by bands of color. Each page is illustrated with a scene from one of the episodes of the borzu-nameh. Old framing label on two of them: "New American Framing Co 12-10/A Lindsay Street. Calcutta 16". (Wear).
Sight size : 50 x 29 cm
Provenance: Adrien Massonaud, Consul General of France in Calcutta from 1960 to 1964. Acquired at that time from an antique dealer in Calcutta.
