Description
Important set of embroideries, Fez, Morocco, early 20th century, linen canvas embroidered without reverse in line stitch with floral and geometric stylized designs compartmentalized in close shades of red silk. Two table mats, each made up of two assembled strips and trimmed around the edges with a knotted fringe, 125 x 95 cm and a cushion cover with the same design, 60 x 95 cm. Six other canvas cushion covers with similar facing on top: three pairs 58 x 55 cm (stains on reverse) and 55 x 36 cm and 31 x 51 cm approx. and 57 x 46 cm.
