Superb pair of Chinese porcelain flat vases with flared necks, decorated in gold with lake scenes and perspective buildings and pagodas. The sides are decorated with Chinese inscriptions: poem by Wang Po. The central part decorated with music stones. The neck with flowers and bamboo leaves. On the sides, openwork handles (repaired). Qian-Long period (1736-1795). Superb ormolu frame with palmettes and laurel leaves. Provenance: PIASA, sale of 20 December 2021 lot 35. Restoration.
