The Castle of LUCHIN or LUCHAIN belonged to Catherine RECQ (widow of Pierre Jacques Joseph de BRIGODE DE KEMLANDT who died in 1781 and was the owner of the Castle). During the Revolution, the castle of LUCHIN escaped the sequestration. On the death of Catherine RECQ, it became the property of the Counts of BRIGODE. The Counts were also mayor of CAMPHIN-EN-PÉVÈLE (North).
