Engraved vignette by Roger "French Government." - "Gentlemen, My friend, the General Claparède commanding the Vanguard of the army of Saint Domingue, announces to me, that he made load on the Ship Alphonse, Captain Labbé, three cases loaded with twelve bottles each of fine liquors, to the address of the consul Cambaceres. I shall be obliged if you will let me know when the ship arrives, and send these liquors directly to the Consul's address." -
