PRINTS & PICTURES. 1765. "ARREST of the Council of State of the King, which orders that all Prints & Images designated therein, together with all Engraved, drawn or printed Papers, painted in damask fashion, of Indians, tapestries & others...." of February 27, 1765 - Headband, Letters - Printed in LILLE (59), by N. P. J. Peterinck-Cramé, ordinary printer of the King; 3pp in-4°: "... His Majesty would have granted exemption from all duties, both to prints and to handwritten books, printed or engraved, bound or unbound, old or new, maps, fonts, letters, typefaces, old or new, and ink used for printing, whether they came from foreign countries, or were transported from one province to another in the kingdom, or went abroad..." Following the distinctions to be made between "the said prints admitted to the said exemption, and the Images & papers engraved with plates, either in copper, or in wood, remaining subject to the duties."
