PARLIAMENT OF ROUEN. PERSECUTION OF A WOMAN, circa 1717: "FACTUM for Demoiselle Jeanne MOISANT, plaintiff in complaints, & incidentally impetrant of Letters of restitution. Against Robert Le Flamen, & Marguerite Le Sueur his wife, Jacques Maubert, & his wife, etc..." - Memorandum of Trial, 12 pp in-folio - Followed by the Summary Answer to the Factum of Jeanne MOISANT, Impr 4pp in-4° - Following a multitude of thefts from the neighbours of the said Moisant, stolen objects have been found which she hides in her home. Moisant is the only one guilty!!! (Details of the investigation.) - "The Demoiselle MOISANT complained of an outraged & continuous persecution that the Accused have made her suffer for several years, insults of whore, madwoman, witch, drunkard, pimp, laronnesse who should be knocked out or hanged... As she refused to sign when the Cuirassiers came, she was put in the House of the Catholic News, from where Madame la Présidente d'Anfreville took her in her home..., who presented her with the Diamond Cross which will be mentioned later...".
