Description

A Sino-islamic bronze incense burner. Qing dynasty Of modified liding form on three short feet and with two arched handles, the outside with three large cartouches bearing the arabic inscription: afdal al-dhikir la illaha ila Allah, Muhammaf rasual Allah (There is no God but Allah, Muhammad is the prophet of Allah). The base cast with an apocryphal Xuande six-character mark.
