Description
A Tibetan bronze figure of Padmapani. Pala style, 14th century Seated with his right knee up on a lotus-base, his right hand resting on his raised knee, the left resting on the base and holding a lotus stem flowering along his shoulder, his slender form clad in a diaphanous dhoti and antelope skin, the blue painted hairdress with beaded strings with a minute figure of Amitabha in front, his cold gilded face with downcast expression and smiling lips.
