Embroidery Suzani Shakhrisyabz South West Uzbekistan Central Asia Period 1850/1875 Size : 238 x 164 cm The wide border displays six large fan-shaped side flowers alternating with medallions composed of six central circular flowers of red, blue and yellow flowers of various shapes, attached to thin stems. The flower segments are embroidered using the basma stitch technique. Several stains on the support, good condition with a few small tears. Lined on canvas with an outer band in IKAT.
