Description

"Selection". Chronicle of the artistic life. Founders : André de Ridder and Paul-Gustave Van Hecke. N° 2, 6, 7, 8 and 9 (1st year), N° 2/3 (2nd year). Brussels, 1920-1922, 5 vols. 4° and 1 vol. 8°, stapled (the last one stapled), glazed paper cover filled with paper. (some covers damaged). First edition. In the autumn of 1920, Paul-Gustave Van Hecke and André De Ridder founded the Sélection gallery, which they defined as a "contemporary art workshop", a centre whose activities revolved around new art.
