18th CENTURY - Louis XV period A violet wood and walnut burr veneer chest of drawers, the curved front opening to four drawers on three rows, the top of breche de Provence marble resting on rounded uprights; ornamentation of gilded bronzes (brought back at a later date) with replacement of the mobile handle marked with a crowned c (1745-1759) Size: 114 x 62 x 84 cm. 44 3/4 x 24 1/3 x 33 in. approx.
