Mokhfia aux quatre plumes
Morocco, Fez, 18th century
Painted decoration of yellow enamels, blue green surrounded by manganese on white slip, under transparent glaze. The central decoration depicts a blue flower with six petals. It is surrounded by four swirling blue feathers, stylized thistles and fleurons. The border is decorated with a frieze of wheat ears. Broken, stuck, old restorations.
