Iran, 19th century Dagger with a steel blade inlaid with koftgari gold, slightly curved with a double edge and a central edge dividing into five points, the main one being reinforced (zirrah bouk). Enamelled copper pommel and scabbard decorated with figures in medallions, accompanied by two Persian cartouches L. 43,5 cm A Qajar khanjar, handle and scabbard polychrome enamelled, the painted decoration consisting in portraits and "naskh" inscriptions, the gold-inlaid blade devided in 5 points, Iran, late 19th century Some repaints and missing parts Former Belgian private collection of Monsieur le Conte D.
