Dalâ'il al-Khayrât - Prayer Book Manuscript copied in Morocco during the 19th century 212 sheets of ivory paper, calligraphed in 'maghribi' with brown ink on 10 lines per page, triple framing in red and blue, titles and important words are highlighted by the use of coloured ink. The manuscript includes two illuminated frontispieces in polychrome with gold highlights, depictions of Mecca and Medina (Minbar of the Prophet and tombs of the Caliphs), and 13 illuminated titles on cartouches with marginal illumination. Beautiful flap binding in red morocco embossed and gilt with a starry polygon. 11 x 10 cm
