Iran, dated 1254 (=1837) Calligraphy mounted on an album page. Ink on paper. 22 lines of elegant "naskh" in black ink. Later margins with lavender background animated with bouquets of flowers. Page : 35,3 x 22,8 cm Calligraphy: 16.8 x 10.7 cm Vassal Shirazi is a well-known and prolific calligrapher, who died in 1846. His style of "revival" of the naskhi script is recognizable in this eulogy of the Imam.
