Illustrated leaf of a poetic manuscript. Ink, gouache and gold on paper. The sovereign is seated under a canopy. Servants present him with a talwar sword and a dish of gold crockery, while four noble figures stand below the imperial dais. Framed with nasta'liq in black ink, spread over three columns (on the back).
