Attische schwarzfigurige Bauchamphora, Gruppe von Toronto 305.
Attic black-figure belly amphora of the Group of Toronto 305, Circle of the Antimenes Painter. 520 - 510 B.C. On side A a quadriga with charioteer and warrior seen from the front between two Scythian archers. On side B a farewell between a mother and her son. The mother is standing on the left, in the middle the youthful son as horseman, on the right as his companions a Scythian archer and a warrior. Reassembled from large fragments, half of the mouth, two fragments of the images, one handle and few other small parts are missing and restored, below remains of sinter. With certificate of The Art Loss Register and copies of the first publication of Puhze and the one of Johannes Burow!
