Cornelis Visscher (1628-1658) - Jacopo Bassano: Annunciation to the shepherds / Description: The annunciation to the shepherds (or The Departure of Abraham for Sichem?) with an angel appearing in the sky; in the foreground of the landscape there are four figures surrounded by their animals, including sheep, goats and a cow; a boy sleeps against the broken trunk of a tree at right and in the centre a woman kneels before a bucket of water; blank margin; proof before lettering; after Jacopo Bassano.
