Crescent Moon Madonna (probably around 19th/20th century), probably a replica of the Schroeder Madonna at Hallgarten, carved polychrome painted figure, r. flattened, the Madonna holding the sceptre in her outstretched right hand, holding the infant Jesus in the crook of her left arm. The child in the left hand holding the apple as a symbol of the fall of man, Rs. flattened, h. ca. 64 cm. In need of restoration, sceptre broken off.
