Auguste Rodin (1840-1917) (after) Wounded man Etching Etching and heliogravure enhanced with watercolour on Vellum paper measuring 42.5 x 31 cm. Etching was published in 1897 by Ateliers Goupil. Limited edition of 125 copies, supplied with a photocopy of the publisher's proof of print. Very good condition, small handling marks. Information: This engraving is part of the "Album Fenaille" or "Album Goupil", a work dedicated to Auguste Rodin's drawings, published in 1897. It contains a majority of drawings related to Dante's Inferno, which are generally grouped together under the name of "black drawings". A copy of this precious album can be found in the archives of the Rodin Museum.
