China, Jiaqing mark and period, 19th century An important quadrangular porcelain snuffbox with central pink family decoration of immortals on the waves. The upper and lower parts highlighted in blue underglaze and gold of flowers and foliage. Jiaqing mark in iron red under the base. Agate stopper mounted in silver. A few jumps and chips of glaze on the edges. Provenance : Millon jutheau sale of April 24, 1983, lot 35.
