Description
Suite of six terms of carved walnut caryatids in high relief in brown monochrome. The busts are bare, three of bearded men and three of women, bearing on their heads an Ionic capital; the sheaths with clawed legs are decorated for four of them with a cartouche of rolled leather, three of which are adorned with a child's head with full cheeks and with lion's heads holding draperies in their mouths for the two others; leafy buttons, fruits, rosettes and palmettes on the lower part.
