Talking table by Emile Gallé (1846-1904). Table top in the form of a shield with inlaid decoration featuring a kingfisher on a branch. Tripod base slightly arched. Walnut, ash and bird's eye maple. Circa 1900. Dimensions : 74 x 52 x 52 cm.
Provenance : Due to an inheritance, dispersal of an "Art Nouveau" collection furnishing an apartment in Brussels.
