Silver chocolate pot, of baluster form, with twelve flat sides, standing on three feet with scrolls, girdled half-body of nets, the spout with clapper, threaded at the base, the lid with mouldings of godrons, the disc with hinge surmounted by the catch in plume, the handle in black wood. Mark of the Master goldsmith Jacques-Ferdinand DUHAMEL, received in 1732. Lille, 1734-1735 (punch of incomplete jurande). On the body and in the lid, marks of importation in Belgium (1831-1868). Height : 28,5 cm - Gross weight : 966 g Accidents, the hinge of the lid to be re-fixed, the pin of the disc missing. Provenance : Sale Chapelle, Versailles, 8 November 1981, lot 110.
