Description
A silver covered tureen, its lining and its display stand, oval in shape, the edges with mouldings of enrubanised fillets; the bulging body, standing on four scrolled feet, the handles made of leafy branches; the doucine lid, surmounted by the grip in the form of a pomegranate bursting on a leafy terrace; the oval display stand with contours. Engraved with a coat of arms surmounted by a marquis's crown. Master goldsmith's mark Simon Thadée PUCHBERGER, received in 1766. Aix-en-Provence, 1772. (Small bumps).
