First edition. A singular work on the origin of earthquakes, one of the oldest on the subject. The author studies chronologically the earthquakes that have occurred since antiquity and leans towards a divine rather than a geological cause.
The title is decorated with a beautiful woodcut frame. Endpapers and title a little soiled, small stains on binding.
